net-linx Europe GmbH is pleased to announce the availability of the 9.0 release of the nxDSMP product suite.
The nxDSMP product suite consists of nxDSMP 9.0, nxServer 9.0, nxPageSmart 9.0, ICE 9.0 and nxAdSmart 9.0.
This release continues the development of the release 6.2 stable branch providing:

• certification for Oracle 11g,
• certification for Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition,
• revised Product Installers,
• performance and stability improvements and many bug fixes.

Availability

The 9.0 release is now available for customers with active support agreements. Requests for the 9.0 release should be sent to your Account/Project Managers.
Regular Support for Oracle 9i is no longer available from the Oracle corporation. We therefore recommend that all customers migrate their production databases to Oracle 11g. This migration is supported by the 9.0 release.

In order to ease the transition to the Oracle 11g database platform, release 9.0 is backwards compatible with Oracle 9i. Delivery requests should state whether the delivery should be provided for operation with Oracle 9i  or for Oracle 11g. Because net-linx intends to take advantage of new features provided by Oracle 11g, future releases of the nxDSMP Product Suite will no longer be compatible with Oracle 9.
